2012 RAWLINGS WEEK 10 POWER RANKINGS

The stage is finally set for #1 Miami (OH) to take on #2 Coppin State for the 2012 NCFA National Title.  The full 2012 Rawlings Week 10 Power Rankings are now available to view. The Final Ranking will be released on 11/21/12.

ROSTER FREEZE REMINDER

Don’t forget the NCFA Roster Freeze is Nov 1st. If you have any last minute roster additions be sure to have them register and turn in their academic clearance letter no later than Nov 1 or else they will not be eligible to compete in the remainder of the NCFA season including the Bowl Game.

DISCIPLINARY ACTION

OC Tech has received disciplinary penalties as a result of rule 15.02.0, which states: “A team will be automatically placed on probation if they forfeit or cancel any NCFA Sanctioned Football Game in which they give their opponent less than 6 days advanced notice.” As a result, OC Tech is now on probation for the 2012 season.

CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS

With week 9 wins over UM Flint and VCU, Miami (OH) and Coppin State have clinched the Great Lakes and Mid-Atlantic Conference Titles respectively.  With OC Tech’s loss to Kennesaw State this week, Macon State has clinched the South Atlantic Conference Title in just their first season in the NCFA!  Congratulations.
