The NCFA is excited to announce that effective February 1st, Rachel Weber has been promoted from Director of Football Development to Director of Football Operations. After leading the NCFA to the most productive off season of new team growth in league history, it was apparent that her skill and passion for club sports makes her the perfect candidate to lead the day to day operations of the NCFA moving forward. Rachel will continue with her responsibilities as SID and working to development new teams to become NCFA members to compliment her new role. Please join me in congratulating Rachel on her new position.

After the first upset of the post season, #3 Sacred Heart over #1 Oakland (28-6), the NCFA Playoffs have yielded a new #1 (Fort Lauderdale) in the 2017 FundRazr-NCFA Week 10 Power Rankings.  #1 Fort Lauderdale will take on #2 Sacred Heart in the NCFA National Title Game on December 2nd at 3pm.

Conference Championship weekend yielded zero upsets as all four of the top ranked teams took home hardware.  Will Playoff weekend stir the 2017 FundRazr-NCFA Week 9 Power Rankings pot?  Next FundRazr Power Ranking will be released on Tues Nov 21st.

For the 2nd week in a row, Coppin State and Miami each climbed 2 more spots in the 2017 FundRazr-NCFA Week 7 Power Rankings.  Next FundRazr Power Ranking will be released on Mon Nov 6th.

As the NCFA heads into week 8 of the season, the post season is quickly unfolding before us.  In the North Atlantic Conference, Eastern and Sacred Heart are both undefeated and have clinched a spot in the North Atlantic Championship Game.  What’s on the line in their week 8 match up is who will get to host the Conference Title Game rematch in week 9.  In the Mid-Atlantic Conference,  Coppin State has clinched the Mid-Atlantic East and awaits the Mid-Atlantic West Champion as well as the week 8 Power Rankings to determine where the Mid-Atlantic Title Game will be played.  The Mid-Atlantic West Champion will be determine by the winner of the Miami vs Ohio State rematch with Miami having won the first game 19-18.  In the South Atlantic Conference, regardless of a win or loss vs week 8 opponent Florida, Fort Lauderdale has clinched the the #1 seed and right to host the South Atlantic Title Game vs Columbus State.  Finally in the Great Lakes Conference, Oakland has continued their winning ways and clinched the Great Lakes East and is the favorite to earn the right to host the Great Lakes Title Game.  The Great Lakes West Champion will come down to the result of the week 8 rematch between Robert Morris and UW Milwaukee.  Robert Morris won the previous contest 56-6 meaning that UW Milwaukee will have to win the rematch by at least 51 points.
