The 2021 Great Lakes Conference schedule has been released!  For the first time since the 2012 season, the Great Lakes Conference will condense into one division, as former East & West rivals will square off in some highly anticipated regular season matchups!  Oakland, Michigan State, SIUE and Roosevelt will battle it out for the conference title this upcoming season.  Oakland University, a 2-time NCFA National Champion, has won the Great Lakes Conference Championship the past four seasons and will look to keep adding to the trophy case in 2021, but will face some stiff competition along the way.  Former divisional rival Michigan State has played second-fiddle to Oakland since 2017, but will look to avenge previous losses by knocking off the Grizzlies and secure a spot in the conference title game.  Roosevelt University, formerly known as RMU-Peoria, will finally have the opportunity to play spoiler to Oakland in the regular season and add a new chapter of their own in this rivalry.  SIUE looks to bounce back from a tough 2019 campaign and get back to their winning ways previously seen in the 2018 season, where the Cougars went 3-1 in the Great Lakes West (5-2 Overall).
