At the conclusion of the Week 9 Conference Championship, the NCFA saw some great football to round out the season for most teams. To recap, #1 Columbus State was dethroned by #6 Gordon State in the South Atlantic Conference Championship title! #2 Ohio State was able to defeat #8 Wright State for the second week in a row to take home the Great American Conference Championship title! #3 George Mason takes down #7 Pitt for the second time this year in convincing fashion to snag the Mid-Atlantic Conference title! Undefeated #4 UW-Milwaukee was toppled by #10 Oakland, as the Golden Grizzlies retained the Great Lakes Conference title for the 5th straight year! #4 Sacred Heart took home the North Atlantic Conference title by way of forfeit from # 9 Vermont to wrap up their season.
